So, I went to my second show ever, my first time going alone, at first it worried me, I got there, and it was actually better, no losing people, or worrying about them
The Venue was Unearth, killswitch Engage, and Slipknot (whoooo!)
All the bands FUCKING ROCKED HARDER THAN WORDS CAN DESCRIBE!
Even though there was a 40 minute wait for Killswitch, which it turned out the singer had strained his throat, so... the singer of unearth freakin' sang for them! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
anywhoo, yeah, freaking great, and, despite all the warnings of "the pits" I kicked ass, I became known in the one little section even! I was the "good samaritan" (pulling poeple up, protecting the ladies, that sorta thing [img]wink.gif[/img] )
and I also found out I can shove harder than half of the people there (wow, what an accomplishment)
But yeah, everyone went INSANE when Slipknot went on, the crowd became a giant mosh pit for the first song, and after just 3 songs I was drenched in sweat and had to take a breather!
So, I cant hear really much at all right now, but it was damn well worth it, I leave you with this:
if you EVER get the chance to see any of these bands, ecspecially Slipknot, even if you dont liek them much, but like anything "hard" or whatever, take the opportunity and see them, it's like nothing else
oh, and the sweet, sweet boobage and $3 water [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
